Description
STS Trading IT has an expanding workforce in Poland who has become critical for the growth and maintenance of the trading platform. It requires senior leadership to help mature the organization further, sustain the growth, and provide senior technical leadership.
We are looking for a senior manager to fill the position of Head of STS Trading IT within Products IT of Wroclaw.
Key objectives are:
- Provide local leadership for >60 employees, also covering the Line Management tasks.
- Work in close collaboration with the functional lines, agreeing on engagement models with them and the external service providers.
- Report regularly to the N-4 in STS Trading IT.
- Build a relationship to key business stakeholders and a strong understanding of the STS Trading business.
- Continue the expansion of STS Trading IT in Poland, ensuring successor planning and knowledge sharing are managed to minimize operational risk.
- Provide technical guidance for the teams and help employees grow their career.
- Continue with full product ownership within the Polish team, ensuring all aspects of the software lifecycle are covered.
- Work with CTOs to develop and implement new technologies.
- Foster a culture of inclusiveness, collaboration and ownership within the team.
- Ensure that the company’s IT organization adhere to local laws.
Qualifications
- Master in Science (Computer, Math etc.) or Engineering
- Master in Leadership & Management (e.g. MBA)
- Excellent communication skills in Polish and English
- Excellent knowledge in IT Architecture and up-to-date on new trends and innovations in the IT industry
- >10 years experiences working in IT preferable in the Banking Industry
- Proven track record leading successful large organizations in global enterprise
- Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers and vendors as well as internally with business and partnering IT organizations
- Proven track record for leading large technology teams
- Delivery focused and experiences dealing with larger projects
